As Türkiye's most prominent industrial holding, SOCAR continue their activities in many sectors, primarily petrochemicals, refining, natural gas, trade, transmission, and distribution.

With their Corporate Headquarters Business Unit operating under the name SOCAR Türkiye, they work through three separate business units: Refinery & Petrochemicals, Natural Gas, and Portfolio Management. The companies SOCAR leads under these business units are Petkim, STAR Refinery, SOCAR Storage, SOCAR Ticaret, Petkim RES in the Refinery & Petrochemical Business Unit, SOCAR Energy Trading, Bursagaz, Kayserigaz, Enervis in the Gas Business Unit; Millenicom, SOCAR Terminal, SOCAR Fiber, SOCAR R&D, SOCAR Insurance and TANAP in the Portfolio Management Business Unit.
SOCAR is the strongest representative of the economic cooperation between brotherly countries Azerbaijan and Türkiye. They contribute to Türkiye's employment and production and support reducing the current account deficit. PETKİM

As a key supplier of industrial raw materials, PETKİM strengthen the country's economy and support sustainable development. While contributing to employment growth, they lead the way for a clean future with their investments in energy efficiency, occupational health and safety, process safety, and environment-friendly production processes.
They have developed nearly 60 petrochemical products by combining their experience of more than 56 years in the industry with our "digital thinking" approach. They contribute to numerous industries such as plastics, chemistry, packaging, pipes, paints, construction, agriculture, automotive, electronics, textiles, pharmaceuticals, detergents, and cosmetics with their high-value-added products such as thermoplastic, fiber, and paint raw materials.
They meet about 17% of Türkiye’s petrochemical raw material needs by producing at full capacity in our 15 main and 6 auxiliary facilities in Aliaga, Izmir. They are the biggest exporter of the Aegean Region, with our supplies to approximately 78 countries.
With the Industry 4.0 standard they achieved in the digital transformation, they have become the only company from Türkiye to be selected in 2020 for the "WEF Global Lighthouse Network", which is determined by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and accepted as the "facilities of the future".
